What goes in the Orlando Magic time capsule?

The Ball Tracy McGrady punted

This ball has special meaning for two reasons.

One Tracy McGrady punted it not once, but twice. He even reached the upper bowl with his second kick!

Upset that he did not draw a foul at the end of the first half against the Nuggets, McGrady expressed his anger to the referees. They would not budge and so off the ball went. It went into the lower bowl and the fans dutifully threw it back. It bounced directly in front of McGrady, he turned and sent it back into the stands all in one motion.

What an athlete!

The move earned him an ejection. The Magic still won as McGrady needed to vent some frustration from that disastrous 2004 season.

The game was also special though because McGrady scored his 10,000th point that game. He never got to finish the game, but at least he hit that milestone.
