Arguably the greatest moment in Magic history.

Nick Anderson snuck behind Michael Jordan and knocked the ball loose with the Magic down one point. The steal ignited a fast break and ignited the run to the Finals and a series victory over the Bulls in six games.

The Magic were not favored to win that series against the Bulls. The surprising Game One victory showed Orlando belonged on the floor with this great team. And the team more than belonged, it had a legitimate chance to win.

Anderson will be remembered by Magic fans for the steal more than what happened later on that postseason.

Little-known Magic story from the early days — Michael Jordan wore No. 12 one time when the Bulls played in Orlando.

Jordan’s trademark No. 23 jersey was stolen while the Bulls were at shootaround, forcing him to wear the spare No. 12 jersey the Bulls brought with them. Jordan still had a good game, but the Magic still won the game.
