What goes in the Orlando Magic time capsule?

During Wednesday night’s broadcast of the Orlando Magic’s game in Boston, Fox Sports Florida posed an interesting question that got Magic Twitter buzzing.

A few weeks ago, repairs at a municipal building in Boston unearthed a time capsule from 1795 that included items from Samuel Adams and Paul Revere. Pretty freaking cool.

It got the Magic’s television broadcasters thinking what would they put into the Magic time capsule?

That became the broadcast’s Twitter poll. They gave fans the choice of Shaq’s shoes, Ping Pong Balls, Lil’ Penny Doll and Horace Grant’s goggles.

Those are all worthy choices and should be put in there. Lil’ Penny won, for the record, with 38 percent of the vote.

Magic fans could not be contained to those four choices and quickly came up with their own suggestions for the Magic time capsule. And there were some good ones.

Here were a few of our favorites, plus the ones we would throw in for future generations. Which items would you add?
