Finally, we find Joel Embiid. Embiid, who many consider to the best player in this draft, falls to five due to his fractured right foot. The injury, a fracture to the navicular bone, has costed some big men their careers, while others have dealt with it and returned to play at a high level. It’s a huge concern for Embiid who also had a fractured back at the end of his collegiate career at Kansas. Assuming he’s able to heal properly and fully, adding Embiid next to Derrick Favors would give the Jazz a great one-two punch in the front court.
