If this is not a sign of how slow things are with the Magic, I don't know what is. But here I am posting this (better than posting the latest J.J. Redick/TMZ story. . . honestly, I have made a news judgment not even to talk about it, this is probably the only mention you will see of it).
Back to what we are really talking about.
The Amway Center in-game experience will change for the 2013-14 season as Megan Clementi announced on Facebook that she will be leaving the Magic after nine seasons with the team as a Magic Dancer, arena personality and Fox Sports TV personality.
"All good things must come to an end….I would like to Thank the Orlando Magic for taking a chance on me when I was just 20 years old. Over the last 9 seasons I was honored to represent the team as a dancer, dunking dancer, dance captain n most recently the in-game co-emcee. This organization became my family n basically raised me through my college years n beyond. I would have never seen hosting as my career path, but the magic catapulted me into this crazy n exciting world that I now work today. Thank you to EVERYONE who believed in me n pushed me to new heights. I will continue to support you n the Magic. Best of luck to all for the 25th Anniversary.Go MagicMegan"
Clementi was certainly a fan favorite and brought a lot of energy to the Magic in-game experience. As she said, the Magic really took a chance on her by putting her front and center after her time as a Magic Dancer concluded.
Clementi was Miss Florida 2010 and a UCF graduate who was a Magic Dancer from 2003-2008. She has been a part of the Magic family for a very long time. So it will be odd walking around Amway Center without her there.
There is no word yet whether the Magic will replace her or change anything else about the Amway Center experience for the 2014 season. Best of luck to Megan though in her future endeavors!
Magic Dancers announced
Speaking of Magic Dancers, the Magic held the final round of auditions for the 2014 team last year and have named next year's crew.

Bottom Row, Left to Right: Elyse, Gizelle, Krizia, Victoria, Brittany, Krystle, Nicole, Kori, Cori, Jamie
So there you have your Magic Dancers for the 25th Anniversary season.
Glen Davis was among the judges for the final round, which you can see in this nice Orlando Sentinel video report:

Schedule to be released Tuesday
Hey, here is some actual news to report. The NBA's schedule is set to be released Tuesday. The Magic are not going to be featured in any prominent games. They probably will not even be on national tV this season. But, the schedule's release is the time when we really start to look forward to the next season.
The only game we seem to know about is generally when the Magic will face the Lakers. Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register reports the Lakers will hit Florida during their Grammy road trip in late January. So the Magic will host the Lakers some time between January 15 and 26.
So there is that. Man, we need some real news.
