Blue & White Ignite – Special Fan Activities Announced For 2010 Playoffs

"BLUE & WHITE IGNITE – SPECIAL FAN ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCED FOR 2010 PLAYOFFS— 2010 Orlando Magic Playoffs presented by Bright House Networks —"
"Orlando, Fla. –It’s time for Magic fans and the community to jump into the excitement as Blue & White Ignite for the 2010 NBA Playoffs. The Magic encourage their fans to show their spirit and wear Blue and White to Ignite the team in the 2010 NBA Playoffs. Some highlights of the fan activities surrounding the 2010 Orlando Magic Playoffs, presented by Bright House Networks, will include:For Game One in the First Round, 9,000 blue and 9,000 white “Blue & White Ignite” T-shirts presented by Bright House Networks will be given away, along with 10,000 rally rackets.A new opening introduction video for the playoff games.A new and improved Fan Fest will take place on the north side of Amway Arena for all home playoff games. The Fan Fest will feature the Legend’s Lounge presented by Bright House Networks for autographs with Community Ambassadors Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson.  The Fan Fest will open two hours prior to tip-off and will have an official playoff merchandise trailer and food and beverage will be available for purchase. This will be a huge fan zone with a tailgate atmosphere that will give fans a reason to arrive early for the festivities.Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will kick-off the 2010 Orlando Magic playoffs in front of City Hall on Friday, April 16 at 8:30 a.m. as part of the Magic’s Playoff Pep Rally.Throughout the 2010 Orlando Magic playoffs, fans can participate in events and activities at three Fan Zones throughout Central Florida.  The Fan Zones are located at Waterford Lakes Town Center, The Loop in Kissimmee and Winter Garden Village!  Starting on April 16, fans can pick up car magnets, yard signs and cheer cards at the Panera Bread located in each Fan Zone and the Panera Bread on Park Avenue in Winter Park.  Available while supplies last.Playoff Pep Rallies are scheduled for Friday, April 16 from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at all Playoff Fan Zones and downtown Orlando. Exact locations include Orlando City Hall; Walgreens at 12279 Lake Underhill; Winter Garden Village and the Loop in Kissimmee at John Young Parkway and Osceola Pkwy.  At each location, Magic front office employees will be handing out Dunkin Donuts, car magnets and rally rackets to get fans ready for the playoffs. The City Hall location will include appearances by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orlando Magic Community Ambassadors Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson and the Magic Dancers as well as a press conference with Mayor Dyer to kick-off the 2010 Magic Playoffs.Also, be on the lookout for the Orlando Magic Caravan throughout Central Florida on Friday, April 16 from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.  Car magnets and T-shirts will be given out along the way.Subway will be giving away Orlando Magic car magnets at 10 participating Subway locations on Friday, April 16. Locations include the Subway in Heathrow, Ocoee, Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte, on East Colonial Drive, at Wall Street downtown and three locations in the UCF area.Checkorlandomagic.com for a list of the participating Subway locations.On Friday, April 16 the Orlando Magic will participate in the Fan Zone kickoff event at Waterford Lakes Town Center from 7 – 9 p.m.  Fans will have the opportunity to meet Nick Anderson, Bo Outlaw and the Orlando Magic Dancers.  Interactive games and playoff giveaways will also be available."
