The Orlando Magic were listless early on and fell behind by a lot as the New York Knicks torched them throughout.

The Orlando Magic took an early 5-0 lead at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks. But even then things looked a bit shaky. The offense was stagnant and shots that were going in were not easy shots coming in the flow of the offense. These were tough shots or post ups for Nikola Vucevic.

The New York Knicks attacked the Magic in pick and rolls and found no resistance. They got to the rim and into the paint for shots they wanted without any resistance or anyone deterring them from doing so.

The Magic were extremely disappointed with their effort right off the bat and had to struggle to fight their way back into the game. And they never really did as they were reaching in for lazy fouls and not playing with any intention or energy.

The Magic offense was lethargic too, with a lot of standing around and forced play. It was not a good night for the Magic as fatigue and frustration took over.

They fell behind by as much as 24 points and could not cut it to single digits on two occasions in the second half, halting any run and any hope of stealing a win.
