The Orlando Magic held a fourth-quarter lead against the Los Angeles Clippers and let it slip, giving up solid efforts from key players throughout the game.

The Orlando Magic had a five-game win streak and all the momentum in the world heading into the Staples Center on Saturday. They seemed poised to build on that momentum with a 10-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

It quickly fell apart though as the team could not hold onto the lead. The Los Angeles Clippers started making shots and the Orlando Magic went into a shell.

The offense slowed to a crawl, the defense became imprecise. It was all the formula a team needs to lose that kind of a lead. Momentum had turned and the Magic could not get it back.

It was something of a reminder the team needs to remain sharp at all times and that any moment of relaxation can be killer. Unlike the wins in Utah and Minnesota, Orlando could not get it back to secure the win.
