The 2015-16 Orlando Magic schedule was officially released Wednesday. Among the 82 games are some games and quirks we are already looking forward to.

The NBA released its 2015-16 schedules on Wednesday with the national television games all set — the Magic have just one. . . the last game of the year in Charlotte on April 13 — and the calendar set. We can plan our next eight months pretty easily.

Orlando will open the season with consecutive home games, the first Oct. 28 against Washington and then against Oklahoma City a few days later. The Magic will travel to London in January for a “home” game against Toronto. They will also play MLK Day in Atlanta, always a special place on that day.

The 82-game schedule is full of its usual quirks and usual peculiarities. Orlando will head West, as the team typically does, in early December (Dec. 1-9) and then again in early March. They will have their fair share of back to backs — 19 and one set of four games in five nights.

The Magic will also play 23 of their 40 home games at Amway Center on a weekend. That should help lift attendance some.

The teams from the East they play just three times are Chicago, Toronto, New York and Detroit. They will play everyone else in the East four times and every team from the West twice.

It is hard to draw too many conclusions. The season has not started. Training camp has not even started. And no one is even sure who will make the Playoffs. Although we have some pretty good ideas.

With that in mind, the schedule does provide some interesting games and interesting points already. Here are our highlights of the season.
