We continue to run through NBA Draft prospects, including in this edition including a French player not dissimilar to Joel Embiid and a freakish athlete who parallels “The Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokoumpo.

We have already looked at five international prospects suitable for plucking in the second round, and it is time to take a gander at four more.

In the official “crapshoot” round, there are always players who seemingly offer the world but do so with at least one fatal flaw.

It is determining which of those flaws can be best minimized that determines whether an international guy becomes the next Serge Ibaka or the next Saer Sene.

That certainly applies to all four of these guys, though NBADraft.net projects one to be a first rounder. If athleticism were the sole indicator of NBA success, there would be a very different group of 400 men inhabiting the world’s greatest league, so a lot more has to be ascertained than which of these players has extra-worldly gifts as an athlete.

For that reason, it can sometimes be easier to dismiss talents.

Then, there is the argument that with those tools, it is worth gambling if enough aptitude has been shown. If the learning curve is fast enough, the payout can be high on an international prospect.
