The Magic had a couple of players come into the game ready to fight but they needed the whole team ready to fight if they wanted a chance to knock off the rolling Spurs.

29. Final. 91. 38. 103

The Magic needed a big team effort tonight to be able to compete with the Spurs, and it just did not happen.

There were lazy transition sequences, a blatant lack of caring when it came to contesting shots, and an overall sense of not giving a hoot.

Tobias Harris said in his postgame interview Sunday “What do we want from this season?” The answer seems to be that the Magic want it over as soon as possible.

A+.
There is no doubt coming into this game the Spurs were a better team than the Magic. While I have shredded the Magic for their lack of effort, the Spurs definitely deserve some credit.

San Antonio came out and buried Orlando behind its bench. Once buried the Spurs never let the Magic back into the game. The Spurs’ pick-and-roll game was working to perfection, their ball movement resembled last year’s masterful championship team, and their defense was set to exploit the Magic’s weak jump shooting.

Another great outing for a Spurs team that is heating up just in time for the playoffs.
.
