The Phoenix Suns are seeking a first rounder for forward-center Miles Plumlee per Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports. With the Orlando Magic frontcourt falling woefully short in so many ways, adding Plumlee’s talents could help reinforce the rotation while adding a player whose upside is still quite unrealized.

Miles Plumlee of Duke heritage is the kind of player the Orlando Magic need to improve where the team needs it most: the glass. Orlando ranks No. 28 in the league in rebounds per game, and Plumlee has averaged 10.9 rebounds per-36 over his 146 career games (105 starts).

He is legitimately a starting center, but the Phoenix Suns are infatuated with his teammate Alex Len. It is easy to understand because Len is a gift-wrapped No. 5 overall pick whose raw talents could exceed Miles’ by a considerable factor.

But, the Suns “problem” is a potential boon for another NBA club.
