The lineups to watch

Undoubtedly, there were more lineups to choose from. Some more interesting and out of the box than the ones discussed. But I believe the lineups that I chose were somewhat realistic.

Realistically, the Orlando Magic only employ four players that have truly no positional versatility (Isaiah Briscoe, D.J. Augustin, Nikola Vucevic and Timofey Mozgov). This could lead to some incredibly interesting lineups this season.

Steve Clifford has a lot to work with in terms of the sheer amount of players who can defend up and down on this roster.

But once again their lack of long range shooting and shot creation ability could easily derail the Magic. Those are things that will be hard to hide with this roster in just about any lineup.

So if you accept the limitation of the team and want to play a certain defensive brand of basketball the possibilities for Orlando’s lineups are pretty much endless 1-15 on this roster.

Clifford is likely already thinking about these things as he plans his training camp. He has just three weeks to get ready before his team takes the floor to prepare for the 2019 season and we see some of these lineups in action.

Next. Inevitable is coming for Nikola Vucevic... but not soon. dark

Are there any lineups that you guys really think the Magic should give a shot to that wasn’t mention here? Discuss it with me in the comments or on Twitter @FmrTankCommandr.
