2016 Outlook

Devyn Marble did enough to earn a chance to do it all over again.

That is the unfortunate life of a second round pick. He is going to be fighting for notice again this summer on the Magic’s Summer League team. He will get his shot again at training camp.

Comfort with the players around him is going to be a big boost too. But the new coaching staff could also be a setback for him. They may not favor his skill set or exactly know who he is. After all, he played in just 16 NBA games with relatively little impact.

Marble has to continue improving his shooting and become more consistent on the defensive end. That will be the biggest step for him to making the team yet again.

Without dramatic improvement, Marble could see more time in Erie next season.

The biggest thing for him this summer is to get healthy after his detached cornea late in the season and get back to work improving his overall game so he can show what he can do in July at Summer League.
