38. In the fall out of losing 10 games in a row, the Orlando Magic fired head coach Jacque Vaughn, which was followed by a win over the Los Angeles Lakers and a one-point loss to the Chicago Bulls. I’m not sure if the coaching change impacted the way the Magic played shortly after the move was made but, like they say, don’t ask about what you can see.. . Previous: . Orlando Magic. 26. team

Michael going off the board with the Grizzlies at No. 1. I do like this Memphis team and they are my sneaky pick to win the title. I am quietly picking them in all my pools just to be different. The whole Western Conference is a crapshoot of matchups.

But, as for the Magic. The coaching change did seem to add some energy and spirit to this team. They played a lot better in Friday and Sunday’s games, Borrego’s first two. And had some moments of fight in an otherwise forgettable game against the Wizards on Monday.
