38. The Magic went 2-2, but this was still one of their better weeks in recent memory because of two nice wins over the Bulls and Rockets. Aaron Gordon is also back in their lineup, scoring eight points and grabbing three rebounds in 11 minutes Sunday.. . Previous: . Orlando Magic. 26. team

Indeed, this was one of the Magic’s better weeks in a long while. At least since they returned from their first West Coast trip. The team appears to have an identity now. That is a big first step.

Of course, one week does not a season make. And you can see by the Magic’s continued low rankings that plenty are still skeptical on the Magic. But another .500 week will help the team change that perception.

Orlando is not quite ready to burn off wins left and right. The team, at least for outside observers, is not expected to win every game it plays at this point. The Magic will steal some and lose some they should not on this road through the league.

It is wait and see time for the Magic.
