Most Power Rankings come out Monday, so let us ignore the loss to the Cavaliers for a moment. The Magic went 2-2 last week once again finishing around .500 and picking up a couple more victories. Aaron Gordon’s injury not as serious as previously believed

When the news came down that Aaron Gordon would be out with a fracture in his fifth metatarsal, the thoughts immediately went to Kevin Durant and the very similar Jones fracture he suffered in his foot. That appears to have Durant set to miss 6-8 weeks (essentially killing the Thunder’s season with Russell Westbrook‘s injury […]

Practice makes perfect with sleeves

PrideUniforms092914

“The Magic wore sleeved practice jerseys Thursday in order to prepare for wearing sleeved jerseys when the games count. Orlando will début its silver, sleeved “Pride” uniform on Wednesday, November 26th, against the Golden State Warriors. According to a pocket schedule the Magic released, they’ll wear the sleeved jerseys for 12 home games, including Wednesday’s, in the 2014/15 season.”

Magic agree to deal with Union Rescue Mission

The Orlando Magic have agreed to purchase and help relocate the Orlando Union Rescue Mission in Downtown Orlando for $3 million, clearing a major hurdle for the team to build its proposed entertainment complex (what I have dubbed “Amway Center Phase II”).
