“Hosting my own SIRIUSXM show is an honor and something that makes my first NBA season even more special. This year will be full of a lot of firsts and I can’t wait to give the fans a behind-the-scenes look at my new world both on and off the court. I have some pretty high goals set for myself and my team this year and I’m excited to take the listeners along for the ride.”
–Aaron Gordon on being featured on SiriusXM’s Year One on SiriusXM NBA Radio (channel 86)
This is the second year the channel is doing its Year One show. Last year, Portland’s C.J. McCollum shared his experience with the SiriusXM crew.
Gordon will be giving weekly reports on his rookie season with co-host Justin Termine. His first show will be Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
Things can always change at the 11th hour. Deadlines have a funny way of doing that. As things stand now, though, Tobias Harris seems set to hit restricted free agency as neither side appears close to agreeing to a contract extension. The latest report comes from Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, who reports Harris’ camp […]
The things we saw from the Magic’s 101-84 opening night loss to the New Orleans Hornets Pelicans.

One day, not so long ago, Ryan Anderson was crushing teams’ spirits in a Magic uniform. Some day soon, Channing Frye could be used in the same way in pick and pops to burn teams with the 3-pointer, making teams stick to the perimeter and opening things up in the paint and driving lanes. That […]

In case you have not heard, there is a pretty big election coming up in Florida in a few weeks. You should totally go vote because there are lots of important decisions being made on this election ballot. Yes, it is a mid-term. Mid-term elections typically have lower turnout than Presidential elections. But for the […]
The Magic are modeling themselves somewhat off the Spurs model. Rob Hennigan was an intern in San Antonio under Sam Presti. Jacque Vaughn played for and coached with Gregg Popovich. Alex Martins extols the Spurs and uses their method as a model for what the Magic should try to build. Here is one thing the […]
The preseason ended with a lopsided score and a bit of a scare. The news of the day was Victor Oladipo‘s injury from practice Wednesday and the announcement he would be out indefinitely after fracturing a bone in his face. Oladipo was on the sideline in street clothes cheering on his teammates as he prepared […]
