The Orlando Magic enter a season with plenty of intrigue and mystery. It is unclear exactly how the Magic will perform and how some important factors will go.

As we are in the doldrums of the offseason, Orlando Magic fans might be full of hope. A crop of new players that could bring a winning season to Orlando. The Magic could boast a brilliant frontcourt and a budding star in Aaron Gordon.

Or . . .

Magic fans could be doubting the offseason moves and wondering how they make sense of the changes that have happened. The Magic offense could struggle and the team could be floating in mediocrity for yet another season.

In the perfect world, the Orlando Magic made all the right moves, Gordon becomes a star overnight and Elfrid Payton learns how to make a jump shot. All while the defense is one of the best in the league and allows Orlando to return to the postseason for the first time since 2011.

In a not so perfect world, the Magic struggle. They have major offensive difficulties and the young players fail to develop. As their offseason additions falter and the team wins 30-plus games yet again.

The Orlando Magic are for the most part a mystery. Questions about the offseason moves and lineup concerns are floating around the Orlando fanbase that are definitely warranted. The team is also depending on a development for a bunch of key pieces which is risky.

Dissecting what could happen is a challenge for this Magic team because of all the uncertainty surrounding this roster. It could be a amazing year or it could be another year full of disappointment.
