The Orlando Magic have had distinct divisions in their short history. And they have had some great players and teams. Who are the best trios?

We here at Orlando Magic Daily are continuing our series looking at the top trios in Magic history. Brett’s list is here and is full of the groups you would expect from the Magic’s most successful teams. David did a good job splitting things up by era (and there are five distinct eras in Magic history).

There is no denying there have been some pretty significant trios in Magic history. Not championship good, unfortunately, but still very good.

What inspired this series was Josh Cohen of OrlandoMagic.com reanking the top 70 trios in NBA history. He put the Magic’s Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis at No. 46 overall and Shaquille O’Neal, Anfernee Hardaway and Nick Anderson at No. 26. I will leave it to you to go see the top trio.

As Brett saw in his contribution to the series, there are some intriguing trios in Magic history. Some of them did not get the full time they needed to blossom. Some of them just came at the wrong time or some of them should have included Grant Hill.

There have been some great teams in Magic history and some great talent to come through Orlando. There are a lot of groups that had a lot of memories, even if they could not deliver a ton of wins.

So with that in mind, I put my mind to the exercise. Here are my top five trios in Magic history and some honorable mentions.
