What should Magic fans think about the team’s offseason moves? It was largely good news for the Magic despite their inability to fill every need.

This was a very important offseason for the Orlando Magic, as they are looking to progress into a playoff team this season. The team had some holes to fill, one key player to re-sign, and an entire coaching staff to build.

They filled some of those holes, but most importantly, they re-signed Tobias Harris to a four-year, $64 million contract.

Their coaching staff, headlined by Scott Skiles as head coach, brings experience and success to this young team. Having strong assistant coaches are important to helping a team grow and win games, and the Magic seem to have signed a very strong group there.

They drafted Croatian wing Mario Hezonja and Eastern Washington guard Tyler Harvey.

They also signed C.J. Watson, Jason Smith, and Keith Appling, while losing Maurice Harkless, Kyle O’Quinn, and Luke Ridnour.

So how did the Magic do?
