The Magic couldn’t stop the Cleveland Cavaliers as the fell 123-108. Elfrid Payton almost secured a triple-double but was that enough to earn him a plus grade?

108. 38. 123. 156. Final

The Cleveland Cavaliers put on an absolute clinic as they wracked up 123 points and made 18 of 35 3-pointers. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving did pretty much whatever they wanted and they found open 3-pointers by attacking through the pick and roll.

No matter what Orlando threw at Cleveland, Cleveland had an answer.

At least the Magic were able to put points up on the board and attack to make the score look respectable.

B-.
Elrid Payton was ultra aggressive tonight and that is a good thing. On the other hand, he committed five turnovers and only shot 5 for 14 from the floor.

His counterpart Kyrie Irving put him through the torture chamber to the tune of 33 points on 15 shots and Irving’s dribble penetration was a huge part of Cleveland’s offensive success.

Payton is not to blame for all of or even the majority of the Cavaliers offensive explosion tonight. He was however responsible for most of Orlando’s offensive success and that is why he gets a plus grade tonight.
. PG. Orlando Magic. ELFRID PAYTON

A.
BUZZSAW. JUGGERNAUT. UNSTOPPABLE FORCE.

Those are some of the terms I would use to describe the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Of the 10 Cavaliers that hit the floor tonight, nine of them shot better than 50 percent.

The Cavs as a team shot better than 59 percent and also managed to shoot an unbelievable 18 for 34 from the 3-point line.

The Cavaliers are peaking at the right time. Do not be shocked if they end up in the conference finals. Did I mention they did all of this without <a href=. Team. CLE. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
