The Orlando Magic are making moves after getting a three-game win streak and looking significantly better under James Borrego.

The Orlando Magic are 4-2 since James Borrego took over as head coach of the team. They are playing some really good basketball.

The defense has been one of the best in the league since Borrego took over. The team is on a season-high three-game win streak. Life is good.

Never mind that three of the four wins have come against the woeful Lakers, Knicks and 76ers — all at home. The Magic had lost to those teams earlier this season anyway.

Things are improving in the Magic Kingdom and not because ticket prices for the Disney park have hit the $100 plateau.

The competitive spirit is back and everyone is tentatively grabbing a handle on the bandwagon.

Maybe the Playoffs are a bit too far off. But we can dream. And right now, we are dreaming of being outside the bottom five in the Power Rankings across the league.

That is progress. The Magic still have the fifth best Lottery odds, but no one is doubting the Magic are playing significantly better. Hopefully, we will not see them back in the bottom five for some time.
