That Kyle O’Quinn block was about the only defense the Magic needed down the stretch as they struggled to contain Joe Johnson. It was enough though as Orlando pounded the interior after Mason Plumlee fouled out and got a stellar effort from Arron Afflalo to secure a 115-111 win.
The last field goal came when Kyle O’Quinn found Maurice Harkless streaking down the sideline out of a double team and fed him for an easy two-handed jam.
Afflalo finished with 25 points to lead the Magic. Tobias Harris had 16 and E’Twaun Moore scored 17.

The Magic are in a nail biter with the Nets and seem to have the upper hand with a 103-100 lead and 2:27 left in the game. Dewayne Dedmon fouled out Mason Plumlee with a Euro-step and-1, forcing the Nets into a small lineup featuring Joe Johnson at the power forward position.
Without a center in the game, the Magic are attacking with postups to Tobias Harris and Arron Afflalo driving into the lane. Kyle O’Quinn is cleaning up the mess nicely.
E’Twaun Moore has 17 points and Arron Afflalo has scored 20 to lead the Magic.

The Nets bounced back from their dreadful second quarter, scoring 23 points at the midway point of the third quarter. Their passing was impeccable with the ball moving crisply around the perimeter and getting inside the Magic defense.
Orlando was not completely defenseless. This was just a team making its run. As expected as the Nets started making their 3-pointers and making their shots after struggling earlier in the game.

The Magic used a 21-3 to propell them into the lead midway through the second quarter. This is with Deron Williams and Joe Johnson on the floor for the most part.
The key to run was E’Twaun Moore who has 14 points and has made all five ofh is shots. He scored eight points in about 14 seconds over three possessions to really help push the Magic into the lead. Victor Oladipo and Kyle O’Quinn have been active and Arron Afflalo scored 11 points in the game’s first 11 minutes.
Heck, even Andrew Nicholson is making his shots tonight.
