Um yeah, have to agree with Eddy there. The Magic have been pretty horrible in about every phase of the game so far. This game felt over at halftime and the Magic only made a push to get it to 17 points before the Cavaliers settled in and re-opened the lead.

Most definitely one of the worst efforts from the Magic this season.

The Cavaliers got off to a blistering start in this one, doing whatever they wanted on the offensive end. They kept it going throughout the first half.

Cleveland hit Luol Deng on a few backdoor cuts and found plenty of easy baskets and trips tot he foul line. The Cavaliers had 11 free throw attempts in the first quarter and shot 60.5 percent in the first half as they quickly took a lead and just would not stop. The Magic’s perimeter defense was horrible and no one was stepping up to stop it. Cleveland scored 38 points in the paint to the Magic’s 16 and had 15 fast break points in the first half.

It was a thorough beatdown in the first half.

Orlando’s 11 first-half turnovers, leading to 16 Cleveland points.

Spencer Hawes leads the Cavaliers with 18 points on four 3-pointers and Kyrie Irving has 13 points and five assists in his first game back from injury.

The Magic had some offensive spark of their own to shoot 45 percent. The offense is working fine minus the turnovers. The defense is just such a problem. Something will have to change drastically to make this even a game.

Yep, the Magic are struggling to get any stops . . .
