Getting to be Draft time

It is getting to be NBA Draft time and the rest of the NBA will put their focus on the June 26 NBA Draft now that these darn NBA Finals are over.

Magic fans have had their focus on this Draft pretty much since the season ended and it came into clearer focus after the NBA Draft Lottery on May 20.

We will start prospect previews here at Orlando Magic Daily later on this week as we look at who specifically the Magic might be targeting with their two first round draft picks. There are A LOT of options.

For now, let us look at them very briefly.

First, I joined Eric Lopez and Mary Stevens of Sports Talk Florida and Adam Papageorgiou of Magic Basketball Online on the Insiders Show on 1080 AM in Orlando to discuss the Magic’s options in the Draft. Click here to listen to the full show from Sunday (we add a little World Cup talk in there too).

To further start thinking about the draft, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel joined Paul Kennedy of Fox Sports Florida to preview his series of draft profiles — which started Sunday with Marcus Smart and continued Monday with Aaron Gordon — and talk about what the Magic might do.

It is almost NBA Draft time.
