Experience a Magic game with Google Glass

The Magic experimented with Google Glass a bit in a partnership with CrowdOptic at last night’s game against the Nets. During the game several Magic personalities wore Google Glass to give fans in attendance a different view of the game.

Like the above video shows, Jason Maxiell wore Google Glass during pregame warmups, giving fans the chance to get a first-hand look at life as an NBA player.

Throughout the game, the Magic showed clips from staffer sitting courtside, the Magic’s flight crew on-court entertainers, PA announcer Paul Porter and Magic color analyst Jeff Turner. It was an experiment for sure.

The video in the arena was a bit grainy, as one would expect, and no one was quite sure what we were supposed to get out of the experiment. It was simply something new to try.

Technology is fun, right?
