Magic open voting for top moment in team history

The Orlando Magic have named their list of the top-25 moments in team history and have opened up the final vote to the fans at OrlandoMagic.com. Voting closes Jan. 31, 2014.

The list includes a whole bunch of classic games, team milestones and moments that are sure to bring up some warm memories. You can click on the link above to include your vote.

Of course 25 is hardly enough to cover every great moment in Magic history. So the Magic also invite fans to submit their own favorite memories to the Magic directly by using the hashtag #MagicTop25 along with the reason that moment is special.

The Magic have video of each of the nominated moments on the voting page on their Web site. You can catch many of these moments and several others in the Magic Video Vault on Orlando Magic Daily by clicking the link. Please feel free to submit any videos of games that are not already up there to me by e-mail at omagicdaily@gmail.com. There are a whole lot of these moments and full games from the 1995 season and the Playoff run.

It is all part of the Magic's ongoing 25th Anniversary celebration.

That celebration continues tonight against the Cavaliers as the Magic will honor Dennis Scott during the game. Orlando will have a video tribute for Scott and a presentation and recognition for him after the first quarter of tonight's game. He will also be on Fox Sports Florida's broadcast of the game for Magic Live before the game and will be on with David Steele and Jeff Turner during the second quarter.

Scott was always one of the most colorful players in Magic history and that has certainly translated to his broadcast efforts on NBATV. Scott is probably the best 3-point shooter in team history and it will be great to have him back in the Amway Center.
