The Magic will open up an eight-game preseason slate in Jacksonville against the Pelicans and take two Texas road trips to play the three Texas teams on the road. Orlando will make its Amway Center debut on October 11 against Cleveland.

The Magic will wrap up their preseason schedule on Oct. 25 against the Pelicans (just a week before the team opens up its home schedule against the Pelicans). Here is the full preseason schedule:

Oct. 9: @ New Orleans (Jacksonville, Fla.) 7 p.m.
Oct. 11: vs. Cleveland 7 p.m.
Oct. 14: @ Dallas 8:30 p.m.
Oct. 16: @ Houston 8 p.m.
Oct. 18: vs. Memphis 7 p.m.
Oct. 20: vs. Detroit 6 p.m.
Oct. 22: @ San Antonio 8:30 p.m.
Oct. 25: vs. New Orleans 7 p.m.

Preseason single game tickets go on sale August 12 (Monday) and regular season single game tickets will go on sale shortly after. All the regular season games will be broadcast on Fox Sports Florida once again. No word yet on which preseason games will be on TV.

And, of course, we get to look forward to a preseason matchup against Dwight Howard. That is always fun.
