The Orlando Magic are considering moving down in the 2013 NBA Draft from the No. 2 pick and have "quite a few" suitors, a source tells Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel.
Source tells me Magic considering moving down in draft and have "quite a few" suitors interested in trading for No. 2 pick.

This could very well be normal pre-Draft posturing. Rumors like these are likely to fly around from now until June 27 when the Draft will take place in Brooklyn. Teams are exploring every option and Rob Hennigan would not be doing his job if he were not exploring every available option to him.
It also helps that nobody seems particularly enamored with the top of this draft. And so, trading down for more assets — whether it be draft picks, future draft picks or young players — is soemething worth exploring since it does not appear there are any players at the top of this Draft that you can build a franchise around.
A rumor like this does not mean the Magic will trade the pick or that they do not see a player near the top of this Draft as a potential contributor. This just means they are exploring their options.
There are several rumors to suggest that some teams would be willing to make a deal.
Minnesota reportedly is exploring moving up to take Victor Oladipo. And Gerry Woelfel of the Racine (Wis.) Journal Times told a Milwaukee radio station that the Wizards are interested in the Bucks' Ersan Ilyasova and might offer up the No. 3 pick to get him. That does not help the Magic much, but it shows that there are at least a few teams considering trading up and down.
There is a market for these draft picks right now, that much is clear as the Draft approaches. These rumors will only intensify.
Porter, Carter-Williams coming for workouts
The Magic's workouts and interviews for the NBA Draft are going to continue rolling along. You probably will not hear anything from the Magic directly, but information leaks out in drips.
First, Bob Finnan of The Willoughby, Ohio News-Herald reports Georgetown forward Otto Porter will work out for only three teams — the Cavs, Magic and Wizards. Yes, he seems to think he is a lock to be one of the top three picks in the Draft. Porter is expected in Cleveland later on this week. Expect him in Orlando shortly thereafter if he has not visited Orlando since.
Also, Syracuse point guard Michael Carter-Williams is expected in Orlando for a workout and interview. Carter-Williams said he was heading to Orlando after he completed a workout in Phoenix earlier this week.
