Oh, Gilbert and your toilet paper money

Gilbert Arenas was never afraid to speak his mind or post it on social media. He often said he left Twitter and his blog because people simply did not get it was all a joke.

Of course, when you have made nearly $141 million in a 12-year career and are now entering the final of your three years of getting paid $20 million not to play basketball, you have some license to be detached from reality. Arenas certainly can be like that — see: Arenas getting pulled over and arrested for having illegal fireworks in Los Angeles before July 4 this year.

For those that still want to criticize Arenas, he has a message for you (h/t FOX Sports):

The next time we see the former Magic guard, I suspect he will be diving into a pool of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck.

Arenas played 49 games with the Magic in 2011, averaging 8.0 points and 3.2 assists per game. He shot 34.4 percent from the floor and 27.5 percent from beyond the arc. He struggled to fit in with Stan Van Gundy's offense, regain his athleticism from before his injury and even recover from his knee injury.

Arenas is now set to play in China this year.
