I was driving past Amway Center on Tuesday after the U.S.-Mexico soccer game and noticed the arena was beginning to turn a new leaf. Or at least get some new window dressings.

Banners adorned the outside of Amway Center featuring Magic players of old and celebrating the 25th Anniversary season coming up this year. There were photos of Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal, Scott Skiles, Anfernee Hardaway and others. Some of the photos combined Magic players old and new as the team emphasizes the celebration of its past along with a focus on the future the team is building.

The Magic confirmed these changes as the next part of the team's 25th Anniversary celebration (one that will continue with the 25th Anniversary garage sale at RDV Sportsplex on Saturday). There are now banners hanging throughout Amway Center and outside Amway Center in preparation for the season.

There is definitely a celebratory air about the building now.

That celebration will continue as the season goes on. The Magic will announce its season-long celebration of 25 years of Orlando Magic later on this month. Magic fans have been eagerly awaiting this as the season is drawing closer and closer.

There is going to be a lot going on this season. Brush up on your Magic history.

Here are some additional photos of the 25th Anniversary signage at Amway Center now:

Love the idea of Tracy McGrady putting his arm around Maurice Harkless. As you will see, the combining of old and new is very much a part of what the Magic are going to be doing all season.

And finally, here is the hallway leading to the Magic's locker room:
