3 Days to Tipoff: Happy New Year!

Believe it or not, Opening Night is this week! Orlando opened training camp on October 1 and today is Opening Night for the NBA. So how will we get ready? By counting down to the beginning of the season on November 2 against Denver. Let's continue:

Today, the 2012-13 season opens. Not every one will be 0-0 after today. At 7 p.m., the Wizards and Cavaliers will officially open the NBA season. Most of the NBA world will focus on TNT's opening doubleheader featuring the Heat and Celtics and the Mavericks taking on the Lakers.

For most, these are the games the NBA world will focus on.

And so all the conjecture and everything else will end and we will finally get some basketball. Some actual, games count for something basketball. It will be glorious!

Tonight's games:

Wizards vs. Cavaliers

Celtics vs. Heat

Mavericks vs. Lakers

If you are looking for highlights that are a little bit more recent, feel free to check out the complete Blog Preview lineup (and many thanks to Jeff Clark of Celtics Blog for organizing it once again). And then join me in counting the hours to the beginning of the new year!
