Where Was Orlando Magic Daily?

This is an editor’s note to all the readers.

My apologies for Orlando Magic Daily being down the last couple of days. It was a very very stressful time when I discovered the site was down and trying to work to bring it back online fully.

As you may know, I took over the site from Zach McCann (now of the Orlando Sentinel) earlier this year. We were still in the process of transferring ownership of the site and the URL expired. Completely my fault for dropping the ball.

Rest assured, I was not held off the Bloguin roster because I was being traded. I don’t plan on blogging about the Lakers any time soon.

Sorry, that joke was just too easy to pass up.

But no worries now. The URL has been restored and renewed and Orlando Magic Daily is ready to get the ball rolling again. I will have my thoughts about the Magic’s activity — or inactivity — at the trade deadline in the coming days plus coverage of tonight’s games. I will also be home for Orlando’s game against Chicago next Friday and will bring complete coverage of the goings on in that crucial matchup before the team heads out West.

I guess this is a good time to say I am always open to hear what you, the readers, have to say since this whole process almost officially completed the transfer of ownership in the site to me (thanks Zach and Woody for handling everything for so long) and I got a good look at what I can try and do. Please feel free to leave thoughts in the comment section below on what I can do better and how I can make Orlando Magic Daily better too. You can also e-mail me at omagicdaily@gmail.com or follow me at twitter.com/omagicdaily.

I am always open to suggestions and I read just about every comment (even the spam comments) and will try to respond to all of them. Ultimately this blog is for you.

And I promise not to let the URL expire again so that this does not happen again.

The Magic are back in action against the Thunder at 8 p.m. tonight. Magic Wands should be posted around 5 p.m.

Go Magic!
