Philly.com has some interesting injury tidbits that could be a concern to the Sixers. Thaddeus Young said his ankle felt fine after playing for the first time in eight games in the Sixers’ win over the Cavs on Wednesday night.
So how is the ankle? “Pretty good,” Young said before the 76ers’ regular-season finale last night, against the Cleveland Cavaliers. “Just stiff, that’s about it. It feels pretty good.”
In the same notebook, this note slips sort of under the radar.
Sixers center Samuel Dalembert did not play the final three quarters last night because of a strained right shoulder. Dalembert played 11 minutes, finishing with one rebound and no points.
We’ve yet to hear how serious this injury could be, but without Dalembert the Sixers have almost no inside presence.
